A Seasoned Student Housing and Real Estate Executive, Josh brings significant institutional experience & execution to the APC team. As Co-Managing Director, Josh is responsible for development execution, construction oversight and capital markets. Josh's dedication to excellence and his unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality results have made him a trusted and respected figure in the industry. 

Josh has a notable background in the Purpose-Built Student Housing sector. He has been involved in the development of 11 premier, purpose-built student housing communities, particularly in the underserved California and West Coast/Intermountain regions. These communities totaled over 7,000 beds with an aggregate value north of $1B. His approach combines the best locations, detail-oriented planning, community engagement, and construction practices, a commitment to quality design and architecture, and innovative amenity offerings to produce “Best-in-Class” assets in the markets that he pursues.

Originally from Denver, Josh attend Colorado State University and moved to San Diego in 2001. Since arriving in California, Josh has been involved in several facets of commercial real estate, with a focus on ground-up development over the last 15 + years. Josh, along with his wife and three children reside in North County San Diego.
